Some Party in Heaven
Come and hear the inspirational and life changing story of Phyllis Arnold at the Ladies' Fellowship Service. Phyllis is originally from County Armagh and she and her husband, Hertford, are owners of the Dromore based firm ‘Cottage Catering’. In her story, Phyllis will tell how she came to know the Lord as her Saviour, and how he helped her cope with the challenges which she and her husband have had to face throughout her life. She will also tell how the firm ‘Cottage Catering’ was born. Her story has been written by Noel Davidson in the book, ‘Some Party in Heaven’.
Mrs Rachel Bartley is coming to Ladies' Fellowship to tell her story of how she became a Christian and how she has proved God in all circumstances of her life since then. She is originally from the Isle of Harris in the Western Isles off the north of Scotland. She left the isles to study Art at university in Edinburgh seeking ‘freedom’ from ‘religion’. After becoming a Christian she spent two years in the Faith Mission Bible College and found herself as a missionary in Northern Ireland where she met her husband, Alan. Alan and Rachel live in Ballinderry along with their three children and continue to serve God full time.
